• Former WWE Star Says A Women’s Royal Rumble Match Feels Rushed

During a recent edition of “Conversation With The Big Guy” podcast, former WWE Star Ryback talked about WWE doing the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018.

Below is what “The Big Guy” thinks about this:

“I don’t think it’s a bad idea by any means. I don’t think they have the roster to do it yet, but that is such a time-consuming match. It’s usually like an hour long, maybe a bit longer. If you start with the Women’s Royal Rumble, have a couple matches in there and then the men’s, I mean, it can work, they can make anything work.

I get it, but not everything is like….wrestling is pre-dominantly male. There are more men in it than women. You don’t have to have to do that. Women are highlighted and featured just as much as the men, there’s just less of them. They are highlighted way more on different things.

They have their own TV show with Total Divas. I’m all for them having opportunities, and if they can make it work, great, but it seems rushed. It’s right around the corner, and there’s not 30 women.

I have no idea what they are going to do with it. The Royal Rumble is always a minimum of 30 people, and they can do whatever they want to do, but I don’t think they have the roster yet to do it, but you never know. Whatever they choose to do is their choice.”

• Big Return Announced For Raw

WWE announced that 16 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena will return on next week’s Christmas edition of Raw in Chicago:

During a recent interview with Yahoo! News, Cena revealed why he proposed to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 33:

“I proposed in the middle of the WWE ring, the place to establish that you’re the tough guy. I could have proposed a bunch of different ways, but the WWE audience is my family. And I wanted to do something that I’d remember for the rest of my life, in front of my family.”

• Stipulation Added To Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega Match

Old School WWF Legend Chris Jericho and IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega will now compete in a No DQ match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12.
