As we noted a few weeks back, WWE & GFW were interested in signing former 3 time World Champion Rey Mysterio to a contract and both the companies were in talks at the same time with Mysterio & Konnan.

However, it looks like the master of “619” won’t be returning to the WWE anytime soon. According to Sports Illustrated, Vince McMahon isn’t happy about Konnan’s connection to Mysterio. For those who don’t know, Vince has issues with Konnan ever since the 90s when McMahon invested a lot in the Max Moon gimmick, but Konnan decided to go to Mexico instead of working that gimmick. Nothing is known as of now regarding Mysterio’s talks with GFW and if they’ve reached a deal. We’ll keep you updated regarding this.

Many fans were confused last week when Big Show vs. Big Cass main evented Raw over the Triple Threat match between Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman & Samoa Joe. The reason behind this was that the third hour of Raw wasn’t doing strong viewership numbers despite whatever the main event was. This is the reason why the mega triple threat match was booked towards the end of the second hour of Raw.
