As we noted before, a WWE Network special is planned on July 4 in Sumo Hall, Tokyo. The big stars that will work the show are Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho & John Cena.
According to latest reports, WWE officials are planning on heavily pushing the Kevin Owens – Finn Balor bout for the NXT Title. Kevin Owens is currently scheduled to drop the NXT Title to Balor at the event.
This means that Owens will be making a full shift to the WWE main roster in the coming month. Kevin Owens is currently scheduled to face John Cena this Sunday at Money in the Bank.
Speaking of Network Specials, the plan moving forward is for WWE to do them quarterly on the WWE Network in 2016.
