• Big Title Match Planned For SummerSlam 2020 Reportedly Being Delayed

WWE had plans to do Bayley vs. Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania this year. However, the match got delayed due to Banks’ injury as there was not enough time to build it up when she returned.

The company once again started teasing the break up of Banks and Bayley’s team over the past couple of weeks, but they haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

It looks like they’ll wait even more to do it, as WrestleTalk is reporting that the match has possibly been delayed, and won’t take place at SummerSlam 2020:

“WrestleTalk has learned that WWE wants to extend the feud, and sees more potential in drawing it out as opposed to rushing it.

Whether this means WWE changes their plans remains to be seen, and our sources have said that while the match isn’t completely off the table right now, the company is considering other options for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at [SummerSlam 2020].”
