– Former WWE Star Lands A Role In A Popular Movie

Former WWE Superstar John Morrison has landed a role in popular movie series Sharknado 5. Here’s what he wrote on Instagram: “Stoked for Sharknado 5 y’all!! I have a fun lil role and may or may not be taking some of them sharks to #Slamtown”.

Here’s the synopsis for the movie: “As shark-infested storms grow stronger and more complex, the world braces for the inevitable – a global sharknado. This year, the mission gets personal for chainsaw-wielding leader Fin Shepard and his bionic wife, April, when their young son gets trapped in a sharknado and is transported all over the world.”

During an appearance on UFC Unfiltered, WWF Legend The Rock talked about how he considered going to the UFC 10 years ago:

“I thought, man, I achieved everything I wanted to achieve in WWE, my movie career is floundering a little bit, what do I do? I thought, oh well maybe UFC. In my head, I felt like it was at least a two-year process for me to even get in the cage, let alone the UFC. I wasn’t quite too sure what to do or what kind of people to put around me at the time, so the idea kind of fizzled out and I continued to stay on the path of movie making.”
