Big Update On Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre Vs Seth Rollins Crown Jewel 2023 WWE PPV 2 WrestleFeed App

Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Drew McIntyre and The Miz:

• There are rumors going on that Drew McIntyre has re-signed with WWE. However, that’s not the case.

According to Fightful Select, McIntyre still hasn’t signed a new WWE contract and he has 5 more months left on his current contract, which will expire before WrestleMania 40.

There are other top WWE stars whose contracts end in 2024 as well, and one of them is Becky Lynch.

McIntyre will face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at Crown Jewel on November 4th in Saudi Arabia.

According to the Wrestling Observer, McIntyre’s slow burn heel turn is inspired by Bret Hart’s WWF character from 1997, where he was hated in the US, but loved outside of US.

McIntyre’s new character is similar to that of Bret, in the sense that he is logically correct, but is disliked as a result of it.

Despite Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn talking to him to change his mind, McIntyre isn’t willing to forgive Jey Uso for all the things he did in The Bloodline and doesn’t trust him.

• According to insider source BWE, RAW Superstar The Miz could be turning babyface soon to join forces with #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano):

“Few ideas discussed over a potential Miz face turn working with DIY. Not confirmed yet though.”

Miz & Ciampa joined forces last year as heels, so there is some history there.

On tonight’s RAW, #DIY will face Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci.
