11. The Hardy Boyz Not Getting The BROKEN Gimmick After All?

As we reported earlier, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that The Hardy Boyz are real close to agreeing on a deal with Impact Wrestling regarding the use of the BROKEN gimmick in WWE. Below is what Meltzer posted:

“The Hardys are real close to the resolution with Anthem. So they may be getting the gimmick pretty soon, they’re very close to getting that gimmick.”

Matt Hardy then hinted at becoming BROKEN again in a few days by posting the following on his Twitter account: “A MASSIVE “Thanks” to all the Wrestling Fans that backed #HouseHardy in the latest#GreatWar.. We are days away from winning. KEEP FIGHTING!”

However, PWInsider is reporting that this isn’t the case and The Hardy Boyz aren’t anywhere near getting the BROKEN gimmick back. According to PWInsider, the following was the word backstage at the recent GFW Impact Wrestling TV tapings:

“It’s actually much closer to the opposite with the two sides remaining very much at odds.”
