As we noted before, WWE announced after the WWE Crown Jewel PPV that Triple H suffered an injury and will be undergoing surgery for a possible torn pectoral muscle:
Triple H suffers possible torn pectoral muscle
“During the epic showdown between D-Generation X and The Brothers of Destruction at WWE Crown Jewel, Triple H sustained what appears to be a torn pectoral muscle, WWE has learned.
As a result, The Game plans to return to the United States this week to undergo surgical repair.
Triple H underwent a successful surgery this past Tuesday and tweeted the following message:
“Out of surgery, happy to report all is well. Thanks to excellent medical care of Dr. Dugas and his team and all the well wishes, messages, tweets, and texts I got over the weekend.
Road to recovery starts… NOW. #GameTime”

With that being said, Triple H is now expected to miss WrestleMania 35. This has resulted in the plans for Triple H vs. Batista (possibly Batista’s final match) being dropped.
The seeds for HHH-Batista feud were planted on SmackDown 1000 last month when Batista said Triple H has done everything in this business, except beating him.
We’ll keep you updated regarding Batista’s WrestleMania 35 status.
