5. Shane McMahon To Find An Opponent For Brock Lesnar?

During the ending moments of SummerSlam 2016, “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar laid out Shane McMahon with an F5. It looks like there was a meaning to that move.

There were talks of doing a match between Brock Lesnar & Shane McMahon at Survivor Series, but now there are talks of Shane finding an opponent for Brock on SmackDown Live. Their rivarly continued this week when Stephanie McMahon made fun of the SummerSlam incident by fining Lesnar $500:

Brock Lesnar’s brutal SummerSlam main event assault on Randy Orton has cost The Beast Incarnate $500.

Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon confirmed on Monday night that Lesnar would face repercussions for his vicious actions against The Viper at The Biggest Event of the Summer. The WWE Universe learned on Tuesday’s SmackDown Live Pre-Show that the $500 fine was set by Stephanie.

Is the fee enough to satiate SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon’s peace of mind for the heinous act inflected upon one of his show’s top Superstars? Is this seemingly paltry sum an insult to Shane and SmackDown Live? How will Lesnar’s fine impact the already strained relations between Team Red and Team Blue?

Shane addressed this fine on SmackDown Live and said his issues with Lesnar aren’t over.

As we noted before, WWE plans to do more interpromotional matches between Raw & SmackDown Live at the big 4 PPVs: Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam & Survivor Series.
