• Billy Gunn Files For ‘New Age Outlaws’ Trademark, Road Dogg Joining AEW?

We recently reported that Old School WWF Legend ‘The Road Dogg’ Jesse James (aka Brian Armstrong, real name Brian James) was let go from his WWE contract, after working as a Promo & Character Development Coach at the WWE Performance Center.

As soon as the release was announced, fans all over the world began speculating whether we will see a reunion of one of the most famous Tag Teams in World Wrestling Federation history in AEW.

It seems like Road Dogg’s legendary Tag Team partner Billy Gunn, who already works for Tony Khan’s promotion since 2019, has filed a trademark for the name of their WWF Tag Team ‘The New Age Outlaws’.

Here’s the exact wording of the filing:

“Hats; Shirts; Socks; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a a professional wrestler and sports entertainer;

Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network.”

• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Legend “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan (Real name: James Edward Duggan Jr.) celebrates his 68th birthday today.

Duggan wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1987 to 1993, then went to Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in 1994 and worked for the promotion until he left in early 2001, before returning to the now renamed WWE in 2005, where he was under contract till early 2009, but mostly wrestled on Sunday Night HEAT or at House Shows during this last major run.

During his career, he won the first ever Royal Rumble match in 1988 and later won the WCW United States Championship and the WCW World Television Championship.

In 2011, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his long-time friend, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase.
