On a recent edition of his weekly ‘Hall of Fame’ podcast, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T was asked which faction was better, The Main Event Mafia or The Bloodline?

Here’s what the former 5-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion answered:

“Main Event Mafia was a better faction, by far. But I think The Bloodline has had one of the best runs any faction could ever have, probably the best.

But I just say better faction because we had some major players, and we weren’t a family. We were a faction.

But I just feel like we never got a chance to really explore how good the Main Event Mafia really could have been in the right situation.”

The original version of The Main Event Mafia lasted from October 2008 until October 2009 and it included Kurt Angle, Sting, Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Booker T, Taz & Samoa Joe, alongside several valets, Sharmell, Traci Brooks & Jenna Morasca, and personal security, Big Rocco & Sally Boy.

The group was later brought back for a few months in 2013 to feud with Aces & Eights, but it only consisted of Kurt Angle, Sting, Samoa Joe and Magnus (Nick Aldis) at that time.

The Bloodline, however, has outlasted their entire run by now, as the group is already going strong for the 4th year now and isn’t going to end any time soon.
