Royal Rumble Aftermath
The post-Royal Rumble 2019 edition of RAW kicks off with Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Lashley.
After good back & forth action, McIntyre picks up the win by making Lashley tap out to the Ankle Lock.
After the match, McIntyre challenges Angle to an “I Quit” match at the Elimination Chamber 2019 PPV. Angle (who failed to win the Royal Rumble match) comes out and accepts the challenge and promises to break McIntyre’s ankle if he doesn’t quit.
I Quit
At Elimination Chamber PPV, McIntyre makes Angle say “I Quit” after he locked in the Ankle Lock and didn’t let go.
McIntyre decides to embarrass Angle even more and returns to the ring after the match to attack Angle. McIntyre picks up a mic and reminds fans that he said he’s going to retire Angle and the time has come. McIntyre brings a sledgehammer from underneath the ring and is about to slam it on Angle’s knee, but suddenly the “GONG” hits and the lights go out.
Lights come back on and The Undertaker is in the ring! McIntyre goes to attack Taker, but Taker ducks the sledgehammer shot and then goes on to deliver a devastating Chokeslam!
Drew crawls back up the ramp and Elimination Chamber PPV goes off the air with Taker taunting Drew with the “Rest in Peace” throat sign.
