β€’ Boxing Promotion Ignores AEW While Bringing In Bobby Lashley

Dirty Boxing Championship is bringing AEW star Bobby Lashley to their event on January 30. You can read their announcement below:

“WWE Legend & Former MMA Heavyweight @BobbyLashleyWWE will be at DBX 5! πŸ‘Š

Next Friday, it all goes down in the Lone Star State with a STACKED card from top to bottom.”

Not only did Dirty Boxing Championship ignore All Elite Wrestling in their post (where Lashley currently works), they also tagged the wrong Lashley account.

Lashley is currently off AEW programming due to a legitimate injury. According to Fightful Select, the former WWE Champion won’t be out of action for a lengthy time, which was first suspected.

The All Mighty last competed at the Full Gear 2025 pay-per-view back in November, where he entered the Casino Gauntlet match for the AEW National Championship.

β€’ WWE Is Taking Precautions This Week

WWE is currently facing a major challenge from Mother Nature. Big storms are hitting the East Coast right as the company is moving through Montreal and Toronto on its way to the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

Because the weather is so bad, fans and staff have been worried about travel delays. However, WWE officials say they are ready. When asked about potential issues, representatives told Fightful Select they have “options, backup options, and backup-backup options” to make sure everyone gets where they need to be. They are not taking any chances with the big shows coming up.

To stay ahead of the storms, many wrestlers and crew members are not waiting until morning to leave. Instead, they are traveling from Montreal to Toronto overnight immediately after tonight’s show. This quick move helps them beat the worst of the weather and ensures Monday Night RAW goes on as planned.

With Royal Rumble 2026 happening in Saudi Arabia next weekend, the stakes are high. Any delay in Canada could mess up the long flight overseas. For now, WWE is working around the clock to make sure the Road to WrestleMania 42 doesn’t get stuck in the snow.
