• Braun Strowman Explains Why It Was Tough Dating His WWE Girlfriend

Life on the road makes relationships tough for WWE Superstars, which is why many end up dating people within the company. With most talent constantly training together at the Performance Center or traveling from city to city, it’s become common for wrestlers to form relationships backstage.

Braun Strowman experienced that firsthand. The former Universal Champion previously dated RAW star Raquel Rodriguez, with the two going public in 2022 before calling it quits the following year.

Speaking to E!’s Hot Goss, Strowman admitted that dating someone he worked with wasn’t easy because they were around each other constantly.

“Dated once in the industry and it was tough just being around all the time. Trying to date outside was hard too, because we’re on the road 300 days a year. I have a thousand stays at the Marriott Hotel in eight years.”

The Monster Among Men went on to reveal that he has a new partner now.

“I have a girlfriend now and stuff like that we’re working on. I got a beautiful Italian girl, little 5’3”, like 130 pounds. She’s mean – but that’s what I need. I need somebody to keep me in check.

We met through some friends and stuff. We’ve known each other for six years and it just got to the point where it’s like, yeah, we get along with each other. Like, I can be of your service, you can be of mine – like I can get all the stuff off the top shelf where she can’t reach.”

Braun Strowman was released by WWE earlier this year, while Raquel Rodriguez is working as part of The Judgment Day on RAW.

• John Cena Makes Shocking Revelation About Pain Pill Usage

John Cena is one of WWE’s most accomplished stars, spending more than 20 years performing at the highest level and enduring the physical toll that comes with it. Despite a career filled with major injuries and surgeries, The GOAT says he never turned to pain medication.

Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience, Cena opened up about the damage his body has taken and why he refused to rely on pills throughout his career.

“I’ve had fusion in my neck, right pec completely detached, reattached both triceps, scoped nose… I’ve had probably 10 physical surgeries where they got to go and correct something. Never taken one pain pill. I have all the prescriptions in the bottom drawer of my house filled. Some are labeled 2008.

The worst one was probably putting the whole pec back on and then attaching it. When I woke up, I was able to mess around with a stress ball, and I never took one pill. The medical staff couldn’t believe it.

It’s a f**king slippery slope. I would just be high on opioids all the time. It’s kind of your body’s natural way of saying, ‘Okay, maybe push a little bit more, try to get a few more degrees of range of motion.’ If those senses are numbed and shut off… you won’t work to do the work to get better. You can’t listen to your body.

I grew up with four brothers, and we kicked the sh*t out of each other. I was not always on the winning side. There’s some value into losing a fight. Just flat out getting your a$$ kicked and then being able to dust yourself off and be like, ‘I’ll get you next time.’”

But even Cena has limits, especially when Rogan mentioned a specific stem cell needle.

“I would be sh*tting cufflinks if you get that stem cell needle out. I would be sweating right until the f**king final moment. Some stuff I can’t take.”

John Cena will retire in one week after facing GUNTHER in his last match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
