Braun Strowman Gives A Surprising Update On Nicholas

Braun Strowman WrestleMania 36

At WrestleMania 34 in 2018, Braun Strowman went into the RAW Tag Team Championship match against The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) without a partner.

To the surprise of fans, he selected a random fourth-grade kid named Nicholas from the audience as his partner.

Strowman and Nicholas went on to win the RAW Tag Team Titles, but they relinquished the titles the next night on RAW because Nicholas was too young to compete regularly in WWE.

In reality, Nicholas is Nicholas Cone, the son of former WWE referee John Cone, who works in the company’s talent relations department now.

During an interview with SK Wrestling, Strowman gave a surprising update on Nicholas, as The Monster Among Men claimed that Nicholas is 6-foot-5 now!

Here’s what the former Universal Champion said:

“Nicholas is like 6’5 now. The cool thing is, I just saw one of the sites that does all our action figures and stuff, Ringside Collectibles or something like that, there’s a Nicholas action figure coming out. So I’m really excited for that and stuff like that.

It’s neat to see. Imagine being that kid and going back to school that Monday after that happened. What an unbelievable experience. It was really fun doing that.

Some people didn’t like it because the violence wasn’t there. But if you understand the whole message and the premise of what we do is WWE, that is WWE. It was a special moment.”
