PWInsider recently reported that Braun Strowman is dealing with an unspecified injury and won’t be returning to WWE TV anytime soon.
Strowman has now revealed that he was dealing with a neck injury and underwent surgery.
Below is what he wrote on Instagram:
“Road to recovery starts now!!!! Level one #fusion on my c4/c5 #vertebrae was in the great hands of #DrCordover at @andrews_sports_medicine was a great experience considering.
Thank you to @wwe for always taking the up most care of us. This was very scary to find out about having to have done and they were there every step of the way reassuring that I was going to have the best care possible.
This will take a little bit of time to heal from. But I assure you (in the words of the #Terminator) I’ll be back!!!! Thank you all in advance for the well wishes.
The Monster Among Men was drafted to RAW recently. He is currently listed on WWE’s disabled list, which means the writers won’t factor him into storylines.
After being released from WWE in 2021, Triple H brought him back on the September 5th 2022 episode of RAW.
He hasn’t done much in his current run, apart from defeating Omos at Crown Jewel 2022 and unsuccessfully challenging Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship.
