After being burned down by Randy Orton at TLC 2020, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt was written off WWE programming for a few months.

The Fiend then returned in time for WrestleMania 37 and lost to Orton once again, this time after being distracted by Alexa Bliss.

According to the Dirty Sheets patreon page, Wyatt asked for some time off as he’s dealing with mental health issues.

Wyatt is coping with the death of his close friend Jon Huber (Luke Harper / Brodie Lee), who passed away in December 2020 due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

While Wyatt was written off WWE TV before Huber’s death, Huber’s pending fate was known by many of his close friends several weeks in advance.

Wyatt agreed to return in time for WrestleMania, but Vince McMahon wasn’t happy with the shape Wyatt returned in.

Wyatt then expressed that he isn’t ready to be back and needs more time off, which resulted in what we saw at WrestleMania.

A fan recently met Wyatt at a grocery store and clicked a photo with him. Wyatt has lost a lot of weight.
