Below are some top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, involving Bray Wyatt, Dexter Lumis and attendance numbers.

• Braun Strowman debuted on the WWE main roster in 2015 as a member of The Wyatt Family.

During an interview on The Ranveer Show, Strowman revealed how Bray Wyatt helped him during his first month on the main roster:

“When I got called up to the main roster, I didn’t have enough money to pay for my hotel rooms while we went on the road.

So for the first month, Bray paid for everything for me. He bought me food, he paid for my hotel rooms, all that stuff, and I drove him around everywhere, and I learned from him.”

Strowan and Wyatt were close friends. Braun is the godfather of Wyatt’s son, Knash.

• Dexter Lumis, rehired after being released from NXT during the pandemic, made a surprising return to WWE on RAW last year, but has been off television since May.

According to Fightful Select, Lumis is not injured. He is patiently waiting for an opportunity in the spotlight. As of now, WWE creative has not outlined a plan for him, leaving his future on the shows uncertain.

“Dexter Lumis hasn’t wrestled a match since May. He’s not been on the show, and hasn’t been at many recent tapings. We’re told that he isn’t injured, and is good to go whenever WWE develops creative plans.”

Lumis reunited with his on-screen wife Indi Hartwell on RAW, but WWE hasn’t done anything with that pairing on the main roster yet.
