On this day in Pro Wrestling history on February 29, 1992, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW SuperBrawl II’ LIVE on PPV from the MECCA Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This pay-per-view featured the final match of Lex Luger’s first WCW run, before he joined Vince McMahon’s World Bodybuilding Federation a few weeks later.
The tagline on the poster was “Best Friends, Now Bitter Rivals, Brawl For It All”

• Bray Wyatt Says WWE Is Trying To Destroy Wrestlers’ Characters, Says His Loss To Goldberg Was A Sacrifice
As seen on last night’s SmackDown, new SmackDown Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz lost to The Usos.
A fan questioned WWE’s booking after this move and tweeted the following:
You booked your brand new tag champs to lose clean in a non-title match?
