On this day in 1996, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW MONDAY NITRO’.
It was broadcasted from the Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville, Alabama and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Fall Brawl 1996’ PPV.

• Bray Wyatt’s New Merchandise Out-Sold All Other Wrestlers During SummerSlam Weekend, Universal Title Plan
Former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt’s future in WWE looks very bright with his new “The Fiend” gimmick.
According to The Dirty Sheets, Wyatt’s new merchandise out-sold merchandise of all other WWE wrestlers during SummerSlam 2019 weekend.
The only thing Wyatt’s new merchandise wasn’t able to outsell was the official WWE SummerSlam Toronto merchandise (which accounted for about 35% of the total merchandise sold during SummerSlam weekend).
Speaking of Wyatt, WWE officials are already planning a Universal Title run for him. Word going on is that The Fiend will get a Universal Title run in early 2020 and he might get a custom Universal Title belt during his reign.
