• BREAKING: Former WCW Wrestler Passes Away
We are saddened to announce that former WCW wrestler Maxx Muscle has passed away at the age of 56.
After training at the famous WCW Power Plant, he gained some experience on the weekly TV shows in 1993 & 1994 as “Big Bad John”.
In 1995, he was repackaged as a bodyguard for Diamond Dallas Page, called Maxx Muscle.
The two broke up in 1996 and briefly feuded with each other in 1997, before Maxx was released from World Championship Wrestling.
WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page confirmed this sad news on Facebook. DDP posted the following:
“I wanna send out my condolences to the family and friends of my buddy & former body guard Max Muscle aka John Czawlytko. Max passed on Thursday June 27, 2019. Max was very instrumental in some early matches with Marc Mero. He was a great guy & will be missed. DDP”
We extend our condolences to Czawlytko’s family, friends and fans.
† REST IN PEACE
