During a recent interview with TMZ Sports, WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin noted that Daniel Bryan’s physical Cruiserweight wrestling style cost him his career. Below is what Austin said:
“I just think Daniel Bryan worked a very physical cruiserweight style and finally, after everything he did, it kinda took it out of him. I don’t think it’s going to be an epidemic.”
“Over the past 20 years, there’s only been a couple guys that had to bow out with concussions. Daniel worked his a$$ off and he was a hard worker, and his style finally caught up with him. It is what it is but I don’t think it’s an epidemic.”
