• Brock Lesnar Allegedly Causing Big Booking Issues Backstage In WWE
Triple H and the WWE creative team have run into a major roadblock while planning Brock Lesnar’s role for WrestleMania 42. According to Self Made Pro, a new demand from Lesnar and Paul Heyman is causing a lot of stress behind the scenes. The duo has reportedly told WWE officials that Brock should stay undefeated until the day he finally retires. This means he isn’t willing to lose any more matches, which is a huge problem for the company’s future plans.
This “no-loss” rule makes it almost impossible to book the matches fans are begging for, like Lesnar vs. Gunther or Lesnar vs. Oba Femi.
Normally, these bouts would end with the veteran putting over the younger star, but that can’t happen if Lesnar won’t agree to lose.
Oba Femi and LA Knight are among the names rumored to face Lesnar at WrestleMania 42. The Wrestling Observer recently noted that Oba is more likely to face The Beast.
We’ll keep you updated if other insider sources have anything to say about this report, since Lesnar has put over several top stars from the current era and usually doesn’t have any problem in doing so if the booking and the money is right.
• Top WWE Official Apologized To SmackDown Star
Chelsea Green and WWE producer Michael Hayes have finally cleared the air after Hayes’ controversial comments on WWE Unreal sparked some drama.
The tension started when Hayes suggested that Chelsea’s main job was simply to make other stars, like Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton, look good. Chelsea didn’t hold back, admitting she was “pi$$ed” that a top executive seemed to be putting a limit on how far she could go in the company.
Even The Undertaker jumped in to defend her on his podcast, telling Hayes that he is a huge fan of her work.
Now, things seem to be back on track. During an interview on the Nikki & Brie Show, Chelsea revealed that Hayes reached out to her personally. “Michael Hayes has apologized to me and we’ve spoken about it,” she shared, confirming that the two have moved past the situation.
• The Undertaker Booked Chelsea Green To Become Champion
The Undertaker publicly backed SmackDown star Chelsea Green recently on his Six Feet Under podcast, saying she has the elusive “it” factor that could make her a bigger star.
During an appearance on the Nikki & Brie Show, Chelsea had the following to say about The Undertaker’s praise:
“He’s texted that to me, too. He has doubled down, got my phone number and texted me to hype me up. My sister and I had this crazy moment of, ‘Holy sh*t, I’m doing it. I’m really doing it.’ I know everyone says, ‘You’re so funny. I watched you and that’s hilarious,’ but there are always the same girls that are everyone’s favorite wrestlers.
Rhea is always going to be everyone’s favorite wrestler. Stephanie is always going to be everyone’s favorite wrestler. I’m used to that, and I support them, champion them, and they are my favorite wrestlers too, but to hear Undertaker saying my name and sticking up for little ol’ me, and saying it with such conviction. He did not hesitate for a second. He told me that in the text.
What is my life?! Undertaker! I’m so thankful because I feel like he really stood ten toes down on how he felt. At the end of the day, I know Undertaker has had my back because he booked me to win the Mixed AAA Tag Titles. He has believed in me since before Michael Hayes said that. Someone of that high status in wrestling, that means a lot to me. He doesn’t waste his breath on anyone.”
