3. Triple H Wants “Broken” Matt Hardy In WWE

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Triple H wants current TNA Wrestling Superstar “Broken” Matt Hardy to return to WWE. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as WWE is dealing with roster depth issues since the brand extension returned.

Matt’s contract with TNA expires next spring.

2. Bad News on SmackDown Live’s Viewership

The latest episode of SmackDown Live, which featured an Intercontinental Title match between The Miz & Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose vs. John Cena in the main event, drew 2.29 million viewers.

This is down from previous week’s 2.66 million viewers. This was the least viewed episode of SmackDown since the New Era Brand Extension. Due to NFL, Raw drew 2.68 million viewers this past week. So this means SmackDown Live failed to beat Raw yet again in terms of viewership.
