• Rusev’s Match For Tonight’s SmackDown Live
Rusev, who is now the new #1 contender for the WWE Championship, is set to face Xavier Woods of The New Day on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live. Below is what WWE posted:
“Rusev is riding high after winning the Gauntlet Match last week to earn himself a WWE Championship Match against AJ Styles at WWE Extreme Rules, but Styles wasn’t the target of The Bulgarian Brute’s tweets over the weekend. Instead, Rusev zeroed in on Xavier Woods of The New Day.

Woods didn’t back down from The Bulgarian Brute, coming right back at Rusev on social media.
Oh wow…. Apparently the number one contender @RusevBUL is out here subtweeting me. I'm surprised he even has time for twitter in between throwing fish at his wife and yelling the phrase he bit from us #HappyRusevDay pic.twitter.com/aTYx4t4bHx

What will happen when these two Superstars put down their phones and clash inside the squared circle?”

• Brock Lesnar To Make A Big Decision By Friday
As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, RAW General Manager Kurt Angle announced that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar pulled out of the agreement for his next match and the #1 contenders bout at Extreme Rules 2018 will no longer take place.
While this could very well be a storyline, Lesnar would still have to make a big decision by Friday of this week.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that if Lesnar wants to fight in the UFC by the end of this year, then he would have to enter USADA’s drug testing pool by this Friday as Lesnar still has about 6 months of USADA suspension (he was given a 1 year suspension for failing drug tests related to his UFC 200 fight against Mark Hunt and he only served around 6 months before he announced his retirement from MMA once again) to go through before he can make a return to the Octagon.
No information is available as of now regarding the latest Universal Title & #1 contenders plans, but we’ll keep you updated.
