4. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Samoa Joe Possibly Taking Place At NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn
The next NXT Takeover special will take place on August 20 during the SummerSlam 2016 weekend and its name is NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn.
Previously, it was rumored that NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn would feature Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Finn Balor, but that match was taped a few weeks back and will air next week on NXT TV. This would most likely be Balor’s final match on NXT.
The current plan is for Samoa Joe to defend his NXT Championship against “The King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event of NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn.
It should be noted that this match already happened at a Live Event a few months back, but Joe wasn’t the NXT Champion at that point.
