Brock Lesnar debuted in the WWF in March 2002 (the night after WrestleMania 18) and stayed with the WWE on a full-time schedule until 2004 (WrestleMania 20).

He returned to WWE on the RAW after WrestleMania 28 in 2012 and has stayed with the company since as a special attraction / part-timer.

According to Xero News, Lesnar’s WWE run could be coming to an end at WrestleMania 41 in 2025:

“WWE is hopeful to keep Brock Lesnar around until WrestleMania 41 in Minneapolis, Minnesota (where he’s billed from) – if Minneapolis secures the event. It’s assumed it would be Brock Lesnar’s final match with the company.”

Lesnar will be almost 48 years old heading into WrestleMania 41.

Prior to WrestleMania 39, Lesnar was interviewed by UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier for ESPN, where he was asked how long he plans to wrestle.

Below is what The Beast said:

“Every time that I think that I’m done, I’m looking to… then I get in a ring, I get to the building, and that’s the part of the business that I really love.

I left the business early because I just didn’t like the travel. I’m just a simple man, and it was just too much for me at the time. But I don’t know.

I don’t know how long I’m gonna be around. I don’t know that.”

During an episode of Daniel Cormier TV, Cormier discussed WWE’s ThunderDome era during the COVID-19 pandemic.

DC revealed that Lesnar almost thought of retiring from WWE during that time:

“I could not stand that. We don’t fight for nothing.

You know what Brock Lesnar told me? He said when he went back to the WWE at the end of the pandemic and he was wrestling in front of those screens, they had nobody there, he goes, ‘I’m done. I did not get into this for this. I want to be in front of a crowd.’”

Lesnar only wrestled 1 match in front of 0 fans due to COVID-19, which took place in the main event of WrestleMania 36 – Night 2, where he lost the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre.

The Beast went on a 17-month hiatus after that and returned at SummerSlam 2021, when the fans were back in attendance.
