• Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 Match Expected To Help The Future Of WWE

Brock Lesnar missed WrestleMania 40 & 41 due to being mentioned in the Vince McMahon – Janel Grant lawsuit. His last WrestleMania was WrestleMania 39 aka WrestleMania Hollywood in 2023, where he defeated Omos in the opening match of Night 2.

The Beast will return to the Grandest Stage of them All after 3 years, as WWE is advertising him for WrestleMania 42.

SK Wrestling is reporting the following about Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 match:

“He’s a HUGE factor for WrestleMania this time. If things go as they should, his feud could help the future of the company quite a bit.”

In September, Bodyslam reported that WWE has been discussing the possibility of a future match between Bron Breakker and Brock Lesnar, with one source suggesting it could potentially happen at WrestleMania 42 in April 2026.

In October, Gunther became the betting favorite to face Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, according to MyBookie.

According to Fightful Select, Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther was the original plan for WrestleMania 40 in 2024, before WWE was forced to pull Lesnar from their plans. Lesnar vs. Gunther was first teased during the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match.

• Top Star’s Mother Didn’t Want Her To Be A Wrestler Due To WWE’s Non-PG Booking

Women’s wrestling has undergone a massive transformation. What was once built around shock-value segments, eye-candy matches, and minimal in-ring focus has grown into a division defined by athletes headlining major shows and carrying the company’s biggest storylines.

But long before the Women’s Revolution reshaped WWE, that earlier presentation made Becky Lynch’s dream extremely difficult to justify at home.

Speaking on Heat Eaters, the former WWE Women’s Champion revealed that her mother didn’t approve of her pursuing wrestling as a career.

“My mom didn’t like it, my dad was super supportive. She didn’t want me wrestling because in fairness there was nothing I could point at, at the time and say that’s what I want to do.

When she was looking on TV and there would be bra and panties matches and mud wrestling matches and I’m like yeah I want to do something like that, but not that. No, I don’t want to do that.”

• Women Deserve To Main Event Survivor Series: WarGames, Says Top WWE Star

Survivor Series: WarGames is loaded this year. The men’s WarGames match pits Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Roman Reigns and The Usos against Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul.

The women’s side is just as stacked with Becky Lynch, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), Nia Jax, Lash Legend facing Rhea Ripley, AJ Lee, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair.

In an interview with Up & Adams Show, CM Punk said that the women should close this year’s Survivor Series.

“I think the women should be the main event, selfishly. I do probably think us guys will main event. There’s two titles involved in there. They’re not on the line, but star power is off the charts – but I also think the star power’s off the charts when it comes to the women.”
