• Bron Breakker Undergoes Surgery

The Road to WrestleMania 42 has hit a massive roadblock for one of WWE’s fastest-rising stars. According to the Wrestling Observer, Bron Breakker has reportedly undergone surgery for what is being described as a “very serious hernia,” leaving his status for the biggest show of the year in serious jeopardy.

While the timing of the injury is a nightmare for the former Intercontinental Champion, it finally provides context for his bizarre and brief appearance at the Royal Rumble. Entering at number two, Breakker was blindsided by a masked mystery man – heavily rumored to be a returning Seth Rollins – before being unceremoniously dumped from the match by Oba Femi in just seconds.

On RAW after Royal Rumble, Breakker tried to cause destruction at the start of the show and then stormed out of the arena.

With WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas just two months away, the clock is ticking. While a standard hernia recovery often lands in the 4-to-6-week range, the serious nature of this case makes his return to the ring far from a guarantee.

It was recently reported that WWE officials believe Seth Rollins will be ready in time for WrestleMania 42 for a singles match against Breakker.

• Major Star Expected To Return To WWE “Very Soon”

Despite a public push from government officials to see him elsewhere, Bad Bunny is reportedly on the verge of making his way back to a WWE ring.

On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez shut down rumors of the global superstar jumping ship, stating firmly that a WWE return is happening “very soon.”

The status of the multi-platinum artist became a hot topic after U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego took to social media to urge AEW President Tony Khan to bring the singer to All Elite Wrestling shows. This political nudge followed last week’s AEW Dynamite main event where the crowd broke into “f**k ICE” chants – a cause Bad Bunny championed just days earlier during his acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards.

While the political sentiment in AEW might align with the artist’s recent “ICE out” comments, Alvarez and co-host Lance Storm noted that such a move ignores Bad Bunny’s deep-rooted loyalty and successful history with the TKO-owned giant.

From his breakout match at WrestleMania 37 to his show-stealing performance at Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico, the artist has consistently been treated as a top-tier athlete rather than a typical celebrity guest.

Though he hasn’t been seen on WWE programming lately, the timing of this report suggests that the San Benito era is ready for a new chapter. With the Road to WrestleMania 42 in full swing, WWE fans can likely expect the Grammy winner to reappear on television in the coming weeks to set up his next high-profile appearance.
