According to Fightful Select, the following counter from Breakker received a big reaction backstage at the show:

Breakker signed with the SmackDown brand recently.

• On last night’s episode of NXT, Ridge Holland (former member of Sheamus’ Brawling Brutes faction on SmackDown) announced that he is stepping away from in-ring competition indefinitely.

According to Fightful Select, this is not an actual retirement, but just a storyline:

The story has been one that Holland has been motivated to do, with the former Brawling Brute being receptive to suggestions.”

WATCH: Becky Lynch Shows Off Her Buns (Part 2):

• After Mercedes Mone / Sasha Banks signed with AEW, reports came out that she is now one of the highest paid women’s wrestler in pro-wrestling today, putting her on the same level as WWE main eventer Becky Lynch.

During an interview with the Orlando Sentinel, Becky had the following to say about Mone’s big money deal in All Elite Wrestling:

“I think that’s an important part, getting paid equally for the equal work and the equal position we are at right now.

Women’s evolutions and revolutions are fine and well, but making sure that they equate to contracts and financial reward for these things when we are doing equal work, is hugely important.”
