• “Big” Bronson Reed was scheduled to face Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser in a Triple Threat Match in the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament on tonight’s RAW, but he has been pulled from the match.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has announced that Reed isn’t medically cleared to compete because he tested positive for COVID-19. Reed’s replacement in the match will be revealed during the show.

• At Bash In Berlin, CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match and took back his bracelet as well.
During the post-show, Punk told Cathy Kelley that he’s done with McIntyre and is coming for Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship.
Gunther retained the World Title in the main event against Randy Orton.
According to PWN, WWE is considering Gunther vs. CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series 2024 on November 30 in Canada, which will be the one year anniversary of Punk’s return to WWE after a decade-long absence.
WWE’s next PLE is Bad Blood on October 5, where Punk is rumored to face Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match.
