– MJF kicked off tonight’s AEW Dynamite and called out Kazuchika Okada, Swerve Strickland & Will Ospreay and declared that none of them are in his league and listed everyone he has defeated. MJF said he’s the best in the world and is appalled that anyone tried to knock his achievements while he was gone.
Rush interrupted and said that he’s been here while MJF was gone and wants his moment. MJF said he has respect for Rush, but warned him that he has chosen to come after the best. The two got into a brawl and had to be separated.

– Rey Fenix def. Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Jay Lethal in a Fatal 4-Way Match to earn an AEW International Championship match against Will Ospreay for next week
– Willow Nightingale said she expected a double cross from Stokely Hathaway, but not from Kris Statlander. Willow said Kris betrayed her trust and now that she has been stabbed in the back, Kris has no idea how dangerous she can be.
– ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe def. Brian Cage to qualify for the TNT Title Ladder Match at the Forbidden Door PPV
– Jack Perry said the universe has chosen him and one way or another, he will become the next TNT Champion.
– The Learning Tree confronted Angelo Parker & Matt Menard backstage. FTW Champion Chris Jericho congratulated Menard on replacing him on the Rampage commentary team, and Parker on marrying Ruby Soho and expecting their first child. Bryan Keith wanted Parker that he better teach his child to respect Jericho when they are born.
– Blackpool Combat Club (IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli & ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta) def. Team CMLL (Volador Jr, Magnus, Rugido & Esfinge)
This was Wheeler Yuta’s return to the ring after a 4-month absence.
– TBS Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone vs. NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer in a Title For Title match was made official for the Forbidden Door PPV.
– The Patriarchy met AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks backstage. Christian Cage said that he was screwed over by Swerve Strickland at Double or Nothing, and wants another opportunity to hold Gold. Matthew Jackson said they will do what they can, and in the meantime both sides will continue to help each other.
– Saraya def. Mariah May
After the match, “Timeless” Toni Storm ran to the ring to check on Mariah. Saraya & Harley Cameron attacked Toni & Mariah, which led to Mina Shirakawa making the save.
Toni vs. Mina for the AEW Women’s World Championship was made official for Forbidden Door.
