During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Tag Team Legend Bubba Ray Dudley (aka Bully Ray) stated that Ric Flair’s daughter, WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair, will actually benefit from her father joining the #1 rival promotion, All Elite Wrestling.

Here’s what Bully Ray had to say about The Nature Boy joining Tony Khan’s AEW:

“You know who this actually benefits? Charlotte Flair. Daddy’s shadow’s not around right now for the next few years.

The WWE’s gonna go, ‘We stood by you. We never put anyone else in a position to break your record, but now you’ve decided to take your talents elsewhere. To a company that has created a little bit of a problem for the WWE, now maybe one of our guys needs to become the GOAT of all GOATS and the most decorated World Champion of all time’.”

Bubba is of course referring to the fact that Charlotte could break her dad’s record in the foreseeable future, since WWE usually don’t like to have their record holders working for the biggest opposition.

But it’s not just her, John Cena is just one World Title win away from breaking Ric’s record for the most World Championship wins ever.

Another name who could break the record is Randy Orton, who is a 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Ric Flair has noted in interviews that he’d like to see Orton break his record. Orton is 43 years old and plans to wrestle at least until he’s 50.

However, let’s not forget that Flair has several more title wins in reality, and 16 is just the number officially recognized by WWE in their own history books. Quite a few title wins were simply ignored in those statistics.
