• Charlotte Flair Explains Why WWE Shouldn’t Unify The SmackDown & RAW Women’s Titles

At WrestleMania 39, Charlotte Flair will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley.

On the other hand, Bianca Belair will defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Asuka, who earned this opportunity by winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

During an interview with Daytona Beach News-Journal, Charlotte was asked who she’d like to face one day, and she named Bianca Belair.

This led to Charlotte being asked about a Title Unification Match with Bianca. The Queen replied:

“I don’t recommend a unification program because I feel that would mean less opportunities for the women.

It was cool for one of the girls (Becky Lynch) to have both titles at one time, but it takes a lot of spots away.”

In 2022, Roman Reigns unified the Universal Championship & the WWE Championship and The Usos unified the RAW Tag Team Titles & the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

While Reigns still defends both Titles as one single Undisputed Championship, The Usos recently began defending both Titles separately.
