• Old School WWF Announcer Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 78th birthday of Old School WWF Announcer “Mean” Gene Okerlund.

After making a name for himself in Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association between 1970 and 1983, Gene Okerlund joined the World Wrestling Federation in early 1984 as one of quite a few AWA names that jumped ship back then.

“Mean” Gene, who is still considered the greatest backstage interviewer in professional wrestling history, stayed with the WWF for almost 10 full years, before he joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in late 1993.

Shortly before Vince McMahon bought WCW in 2001, Okerlund left the company, but returned to his old workplace, the World Wrestling Federation, at WWF WrestleMania X-Seven.

In 2006, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his close, personal friend, “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & † REST IN PEACE!

• Charlotte Flair Got Her Implants Removed During Time Off (Photos)

According to The Dirty Sheets patreon page, former Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is on the call sheet for this Sunday’s TLC 2020 PPV and Monday’s RAW.

This means Charlotte could return to WWE programming in the coming days, or she could just be visiting backstage for future plans (although there are rumors that she could be Asuka’s mystery tag team partner at TLC).

One thing that was noted is that Charlotte will look a little different as she got her breast implants removed during her time off.

She took time off earlier this year to repair a ruptured breast implant and then decided to have them removed as the cons of having them (while being a wrestler) outweigh the pros.

Her recent pictures also show that she got them removed:

Stephanie McMahon did the same thing back in 2015.
