As seen on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live, Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

With that being said, Charlotte Flair is now an 8x singles champion in WWE and a total 9x singles champion if you count NXT:
– 4x RAW Women’s Champion
– 3x SmackDown Women’s Champion
– 1x WWE Divas Champion
– 1x NXT Women’s Champion

With this Title win, Charlotte Flair has broken Trish Stratus’ record of 7 Women’s Championship reigns and has equalled Trish’s record for the most Titles won by a woman on the WWE main roster (8).
For those who don’t know, Trish is also a former Hardcore Champion in addition to being a 7x WWE Women’s Champion.
