• Charlotte Flair’s Latest Achievement Will Blow Your Mind
On Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair returned to WWE programming for the first time since WrestleMania Backlash.
She pinned Ronda Rousey to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship and WWE is now promoting her as a 14-time World Champion.
According to Xero News, Triple H decided to book Charlotte to win the SmackDown Women’s Title because most of the top matches for WrestleMania 39 got leaked (where Flair was scheduled to face Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship), so he wanted to shake things up heading into WrestleMania season:
“Triple H was the one who decided on Charlotte dethroning Rousey on SmackDown as he wanted to shake up the WrestleMania plans as everything had been getting leaked online and WWE had taken notice.”

Charlotte has now held a WWE/NXT Women’s Championship in every year for the last 10 consecutive calendar years: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023.
