AEW All In 2023 PPV is going to be the biggest All Elite Wrestling event to date.
It’s going to take place at the Wembley Stadium in London, England on August 27th. This is going to be AEW’s 1st ever show in the United Kingdom.
Here’s what AEW President Tony Khan tweeted about it yesterday:
“Today’s one of the best days in AEW history.
Thank you to all buying AEW All In tickets today, off to an AMAZING start already.
36,000 sold for £3.8M ($4.7M) + we’re only getting started, more great seats are going on-sale!
Let’s celebrate on Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite.”
ESPN Reporter Mike Coppinger tweeted the following about this news:
“Hearing Wembley is scaled for only 40,000 for AEW – far cry from last April when I was ringside for Tyson Fury – Dillian Whyte and it was packed to the brim with 94,000. Nothing beats the big-fight feel at Wembley.”
Tony saw this tweet and fired back with the following:
“LIES. What a load of crap. Tell your agent Nick Khan to shove it up his a$$.
Since you carry the credentials of a credible reporter + represent the Worldwide Leader, I’m just curious: who was your source for this, and how can a reporter representing ESPN tweet something about a legit news story that’s so blatantly wrong and easily verified as a falsehood?”
Today, Tony revealed that 43,000 tickets have been sold so far:
“Thanks to our great fans, only 32 hours into the pre-sale for AEW All In London, we’ve already sold over 43,000 tickets for over £4.5M ($5.7M), before general on-sale has even begun, with more great seats going on sale soon!
