On this day in Pro Wrestling history on January 17, 1999, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired their annual ‘WCW Souled Out’ event LIVE on PPV from the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia.

• Chris Jericho Hasn’t Signed A WWE Deal For His Raw 25 Appearance

As we noted before, Old School WWF Legend Chris Jericho was announced to make his WWE return at next week’s Raw 25. It should be noted that Jericho, who most recently competed in New Japan Pro Wrestling, isn’t signed WWE or NJPW.

As a matter of fact, NJPW officials knew Jericho would be appearing at Raw 25 when they discussing his NJPW plans.
