• Old School WWF Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 83rd birthday of Old School WWF Veteran Uncle Elmer (Real name: Stan Frazier).

After touring the territories as ‘Playboy Frazier’, Frazier joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1985, where he became known as Uncle Elmer and was part of a Hillbillies faction with Hillbilly Jim, Cousin Luke & Cousin Junior.

Elmer’s biggest claim to fame would probably be, when he got married (for real) on a pre-taped episode of WWF Saturday Night’s Main Event in 1985.

After leaving the WWF in 1986, he went back to the territories, such as the AWA (Minnesota) & CWA (Memphis).

• Chris Jericho Says An ‘NXT Reject’ Leaked Eric Bischoff’s AEW Debut

A couple of weeks ago, former WCW President Eric Bischoff debuted on AEW Dynamite to moderate Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy’s debate.

However, someone leaked the news on Reddit as the show was taped a week before the episode aired.

Chris Jericho discussed this on his latest Saturday Night Special on Facebook and said that he knows who leaked Bischoff’s appearance on Dynamite.

“Social media is a different ball of wax, though. I think the amount of people who are on social media is very small compared to the overall people watching. For example, when we had the debate and Eric Bischoff was announced on Reddit and we know who the spy is, by the way. Oh, we know. He’ll never f*cking be back in AEW. [An] NXT reject was a spy, so print that.

I was like, listen, we can announce this or we can just not announce it and don’t worry about it and see, you know, the people that know will know and maybe they’ll watch if they weren’t going to. The people that don’t know, will still be surprised. That’s exactly what happened. People were super surprised that Bischoff was there and it worked out great.”
