• Chris Jericho Says Vince McMahon Buried Current WWE Wrestler To Mess With Pat Patterson
During an episode of Talk Is Jericho, Old School WWF Legend & current AEW Superstar Chris Jericho talked about former World Champion Dolph Ziggler getting buried in WWE just for fun.
Jericho said that Pat Patterson was very high on Ziggler and would stand up for him during backstage meetings, and this led to Vince McMahon burying Ziggler just to mess with Patterson.
Here’s what Jericho said:
“Pat would always stand up for Dolph Ziggler in the booking meetings. [He would say], ‘we gotta push Dolph, we gotta push Dolph, we gotta push Dolph.’
I think that almost led to Dolph getting heat for it to where they would start doing the opposite just to piss Pat off, just to have him lose a lot.
You know how Vince thinks. ‘Let’s rib Pat and bury Dolph Ziggler because it’s funny to me’ even though it’s a detriment to your company to do that.
[Pat] was very vocal about certain talent and because he had no filter and didn’t care, I think sometimes the people he was trying to push kind of got caught in the crossfire.”

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (December 14, 2019) – Old School WWF Veteran Passed Away
On this day in 2019, we lost Old School WWF Veteran Moondog Rex (Real name: Randy Colley) at the age of 69.
Most Old School Wrestling fans remember Moondog Rex as one half of the famous 70s/80s/90s Tag Team “The Moondogs”.
The Moondogs won the WWWF World Tag Team Championship in 1981 from Martel & Garea, but during their reign Moondog Rex’s Tag Team partner Moondog King was replaced by Moondog Spot.
In 1990 & 1991, Colley wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling as Moondog Rex, but later also appeared as Deadeye Dick of The Desperados.
