3. Rusev Returns & Attacks Roman Reigns, Possible US Title Match For Clash of Champions 2016

In the main event of tonight’s Raw, “The Guy” Roman Reigns faced the WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens with the stipulation being “If Roman wins, he will be added to the Universal Title match at Clash of Champions 2016”.

Seth Rollins interfered in the match and attacked Kevin Owens. This resulted in Owens being announced the winner via DQ. However, Raw General Manager Mick Foley came out and restarted the match.

During the ending moments of the match, United States Champion Rusev returned and Reigns delivered a Superman Punch to him. Kevin Owens took advantage of the distraction caused and nailed a Pop-Up Powerbomb on Reigns for the win.

Rusev attacked Reigns after the match and put him in the Accolade to end Raw. It looks like the two Superstars will now square off for the United States Title at Clash of Champions 2016. It was previously expected that Rusev won’t be working Clash of Champions 2016 as he noted that he was on a 23 day honeymoon with Lana, but that obviously didn’t turn out to be the case.
