2. Things That Might Happen At WWE Clash of Champions 2016

Raw’s 1st brand exclusive PPV of the New Era, Clash of Champions 2016, will take place tonight and 8 matches have been announced for the show so far (including 1 Kickoff match). Let us take a look at the possible things that could happen tonight at Clash of Champions 2016:

– The New Day’s Record Title Reign Won’t Come To An End

Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day will enter Clash of Champions 2016 as the Tag Team Champions for 399 days. If they manage to defeat Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, then they would celebrate 400 days as Champions on Raw.

It looks like they would achieve this milestone as they are the favorites to walk out of the PPV as still the Raw Tag team Champions.

– TJ Perkins Shows Why He Rules Raw’s Cruiserweight Division

TJ Perkins won the Cruiserweight Classic tournament and was crowned the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, when he defeated Gran Metalik in the finals of WWE CWC.

This past week on Raw, the Raw Cruiserweights division kicked off with a Fatal 4 way match to determine the #1 contender for the Cruiserweight Championship at Clash of Champions 2016. The Brain Kendrick won the match and will now face TJP for the Title.

Perkins is expected to retain the Title in his main roster debut match.

– Sheamus Knocks Off Cesaro

The final match of the “Best of 7” series between Sheamus & Cesaro will take place tonight at Clash of Champions 2016. Both men are currently tied at 3-3 in the series and the winner will be decided tonight.

The winner of tonight’s match #7 will win the series and will get a Championship match, possibly a United States Championship match. Sheamus is currently the favorite to defeat Cesaro in tonight’s bout.

– Charlotte Outsmarts Sasha & Bayley

Charlotte will defend the Raw Women’s Title against “The Boss” Sasha Banks & Bayley in a Triple Threat match. Charlotte is expected to retain the Title tonight as current plans don’t have either Sasha or Bayley having a run with the Title.

Charlotte is scheduled to hold the Title at least till the next Raw exclusive PPV.
