Tonight’s go-home episode of SmackDown for Survivor Series 2023 took place in Chicago.

Before the show started, some fans started CM Punk chants, which received boos. You can watch it below:

Punk’s backstage incidents in AEW has hurt his reputation in his hometown of Chicago as well, where he was loved dearly.

– SmackDown kicked off with Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair & Shotzi talking about WarGames. Bayley interrupted and said that Bianca’s team is at a disadvantage as they are not a real team. Becky issued a challenge for 2 members of Damage CTRL to face 2 members of their team tonight.

– Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Mr. Money In The Bank Damian Priest) (c) def. The Street Profits to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

– Grayson Waller hosted The Grayson Waller Effect with special guest Kevin Owens. However, it’s revealed to be Austin Theory dressed as Kevin Owens. The real Kevin Owens and LA Knight came out and challenged them to a match.

– LA Knight & Kevin Owens def. Grayson Waller & Austin Theory

– Carlito said the first time he saw Santos Escobar, he knew he was a rat and would betray Rey Mysterio. Santos came out and said Carlito is to blame for Rey’s career being over. They got into a brawl, which ended with Santos standing tall.

– Pretty Deadly def. The Brawling Brutes after Ridge Holland walked out on Butch

– General Manager Nick Aldis announced that Carlito is not medically cleared to compete against Santos Escobar at Survivor Series. Dragon Lee offered to compete in Carlito’s place and Aldis made it official.
