CM Punk Comments On John Cena’s Pipebomb

In the main event of last night’s SmackDown, R-Truth defeated Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena via DQ in a non-title match. Cena hit Truth with the title to cause the disqualification. CM Punk came out for a fight after the match. Cena had the upper hand first, but Punk fought back. Punk was looking to hit Cena with the title, but Cena hit Punk with a low blow and then hit him in the head with the title. Cena brought a table into the ring. Cena hit Punk with the title again and put him through the table with an Attitude Adjustment.

Cena then grabbed a mic and cut his own version of the pipebomb. Cena said Punk is the best bullsh*tter in the world. Cena called Stu to shoot this and said he’s breaking the 4th wall. Cena said the truth is – he’s jealous of Punk because Punk has conned the fans into believing that he’s the best. Cena said Punk changes his values as much as he changes his T-Shirts.

John broke the 4th wall again and said “Hi” to Claudio Castagnoli, Nic Nemeth and Matt Cardona. Cena said Punk is Mr.TKO because they cut his balls off. Cena said Punk’s tweets are strong, but his actions are weak. Fans began chanting for Cena.

Cena told Punk to bring his A game at Night of Champions.

CM Punk appeared at the SummerSlam Kickoff press conference at Fanatics Fest today and said the following about Cena’s pipebomb:

“John said one true real thing last night and that is he’s jealous of me, and it doesn’t seem to make any sense because he is the Greatest of All Time, right?

17-Time World Champion. I don’t know if anybody in this room is going to live long enough to see anybody else accomplish that. It could be Randy (Orton). Randy is probably our best bet. The big difference between Randy and John is Randy didn’t sell his soul to The Rock.”

AEW star Claudio Castagnoli (fka Cesaro in WWE) tweeted the following in reference to Cena’s promo:

Posting a photo of a cup of coffee is a reference to Cena’s promo because earlier this month, Seth Rollins revealed that heā€™s in a coffee group chat with Cena and Castagnoli.
