• CM Punk Comments On Rumors Of Him Being Mad About Facing The Undertaker At WrestleMania 29

During his appearance at Starrcast III, former WWE wrestler CM Punk addressed a rumor of him being mad about facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 (The Undertaker was 20-0 at WrestleMania prior to that match).

Punk noted that he wasn’t mad, but he had a few issues with the presentation of that match, as he didn’t want to be ‘just another guy’ facing The Undertaker. Punk pitched ideas to build himself as a threat to The Undertaker.

Punk then talked about the build-up to the WrestleMania 29 match with The Undertaker being weird. Punk won a Fatal 4 Way match to earn the opportunity to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 and conquer his streak. Paul Bearer also passed away on the road to WrestleMania 29 (and he got involved in the storyline as well then).

Punk noted that he wasn’t happy about losing to Kane on the road to WrestleMania 29, but Vince McMahon told him that he would get over more if he loses to Kane.

Punk then said that things picked up for him when he dressed up as Paul Bearer and poured Bearer’s ashes (which was actually cat litter) on The Undertaker.
