• “CM Punk is spending too much time with Seth Rollins” – RAW Star Wants Punk/Rollins Feud To End

Nearly two years have passed since the historic return of CM Punk to WWE. The Best In The World has had beef with Seth Rollins since he showed up at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023.

The two men are still not done, as both of them will team up with their wives to lock horns in a Mixed Tag Team Match at Wrestlepalooza in less than two weeks.

Grayson Waller wants the feud to end now because he wants to have his moment with CM Punk. The former WWE Tag Team Champion recently spoke to No-Contest Wrestling and expressed excitement about a potential battle on the mic with the former AEW World Champion.

“I wanna fight CM Punk; I wanna fight CM Punk so bad. I wanna have the microphone next to CM Punk.

He’s just spending too much time with Seth Rollins, we’ve gotta try and drag him out of that and those two have gotta stop fighting, and I wanna see what Punk’s really about.

That’s one of my dreams, because on the mic there’s no-one better. As someone who prides themself on their microphone ability, I wanna test myself against CM Punk. Because I know he’s not gonna hold back at all, he’s gonna say whatever he thinks, and that’s something that doesn’t really exist anymore.

I’ve got a lot to say about CM Punk, but we’ll save that for the day that it needs to be said. I’ve been saving that for a long time.”

• “It’s just bad for the business” – Former WWE Champion On Celebrity Involvement In Wrestling

Celebrities have become a common part of pro wrestling over the past few years. WWE has worked with many big names in recent times including Logan Paul, Bad Bunny and Johnny Knoxville.

While speaking to TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam gave his take on the involvement of celebrities in pro wrestling. He said that he isn’t a big fan of the idea.

“I changed my mind to the extent of where I can say, look, I got no control over it. The business is changing in so many ways away from what it used to be, and I know there’s nothing I can do to stop it. So I’m watching it happen. I’m understanding it less and less. Am I enjoying it? No, not really.

But celebrities coming in, I’ve always felt like it takes, like, one, it really hurts the credibility of what we’re doing. Two, you got to work around them to make it look like they could do something that they really couldn’t do. And three, it’s just bad for the business.”

RVD recently revealed that he was supposed to face John Cena during the legend’s retirement tour, but that could not happen. The 17-time World Champion put on an excellent performance at Clash In Paris against Logan Paul.

• It’s Fn Crazy That Karrion Kross Didn’t Become The Face Of WWE, Says Released Star

The Authors of Pain had a successful run in NXT. However, they were never able to shine on the main roster due to inconsistent booking and a number of injuries.

In an interview with Metro, Rezar revealed that WWE wanted to split AOP and make him a singles star.

“A lot of people backstage were pushing to do that. But I made my name in a tag team. I don’t go behind someone’s back. The talks were there, but I was never really interested.”

The former Tag Team Champion also talked about his second run in WWE, where AOP was a part of The Final Testament alongside Karrion Kross and Scarlett. He said that the leader of the group could have become a top star if Triple H booked him properly.

“Kross has all the talent in the world to become a WWE Champion and be the face of WWE, and they just didn’t give it to him. It’s f***ing crazy.”

He went on to say that Triple H promised a lot of things to the group that never came into fruition. The WWE Chief Content Officer was “very excited” about the group at the beginning. He was always respectful towards them, which is why Rezar feels he has nothing bad to say about him.
