Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Rhea Ripley.
• Triple H announced that Drew McIntyre has been cleared to return to in-ring competition. He will face Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Clash At The Castle in Scotland (which is Drew’s home country) on June 15.
McIntyre took a shot at Priest after this announcement, as he compared Priest’s situation to that of John Cena at ECW One Night Stand 2006:
“Priest walking into Glasgow (Except without the aura)”

Reacting to this announcement, CM Punk posted a humorous edit on his Instagram story, featuring McIntyre’s Clash at The Castle poster with actor Steven Seagal’s face superimposed over Drew’s head:
• World Heavyweight Champion & Judgment Day leader Damian Priest tweeted the following about Dominik Mysterio accidentally helping Liv Morgan in defeating Becky Lynch for the Women’s World Championship at King & Queen of the Ring:
“What!? From bad to worse… smh”
While Rhea Ripley hasn’t issued a statement on Liv’s title win, she did like Damian’s tweet to show that she’s upset about Dirty Dom’s mistake.
