• CM Punk Reacts To Fans Saying WrestleMania 41 – Night 1 Match Didn’t Count As A True Main Event

CM Punk finally main evented WrestleMania this year. He was in the main event of WrestleMania 41 – Night 1 against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. However, some fans claim that Night 1 doesn’t count as a true main event, and that the final match of Night 2 is the true main event of the entire event.

During an Instagram Live session, Punk was asked if he thinks he’ll ever main event WrestleMania again. He said yes, and added that it has to be Night 2. “Sure, I do. Gotta hit Night 2 for all those people that move the goalposts,” Punk said.

In the past, Punk explained why main eventing WrestleMania mattered so much to him. Speaking about it previously, he said:

“The reason why I was so obsessed with the main event of WrestleMania is pay scale. There isn’t a single person that can criticize me that can explain professional wrestling pay scale. If I’m in the main event, I get paid more money.”
