Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring CM Punk and The Undertaker.
• At Fanatics Fest, CM Punk was asked about the positive changes he has noticed in Triple H’s WWE after his return to the company.
Punk said the biggest one is how wrestlers’ health is of the utmost priority and that talent can now request time off from WWE’s app.
Here’s what Punk said:
“I can look back at 10 years ago and tell you would have, could have, should have. At the rate I was going, 100% burnout was inevitable. I said that I took myself off the hamster wheel because nobody else would. I was looking around begging somebody [like] please, get me out of here. Certain people were around then were like, nope we need you, you gotta keep going.
Look at [Steve Austin’s] run on top. It wasn’t that long. I’m sure we can all look at that and say well gosh, why was it so short? It’s because he was going so hard for so long when finally he got to the top. I think in that way, burnout is inevitable.
What I think is now in place is a system and management that understands that. The talent is so rich that if Cody (Rhodes) needs a show off, he can take that day off. If I need a day off, I can take that day off.
I’m still flabbergasted. There’s a tab on the WWE app that you can click and you can request days off. Brother, it still blows my mind. It’s a brave new world.”

• On his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker praised Ludwig Kaiser, who is currently getting a singles push in the mid-card division of RAW. Here’s what the WWE Hall of Famer said:
“I’m high on [Ludwig Kaiser] too. Obviously, Gunther is a little bit farther along but keep an eye on Kaiser. I think he’s going to be special. He’s easy to hate.
What was really refreshing to me was I was giving him my perspective on what he should be doing, and he was like, ‘That’s what I’ve been feeling, I’ve been feeling all of this.’ And he’s just been waiting for his opportunity because he’s been in the shadow of Gunther.”
On this week’s RAW, Kaiser faced Randy Orton and lost.
